LKS2 - The Day Christmas Disappeared
It was nearly Christmas in the snowy town of Silverpine. The streets sparkled with lights, and the smell of gingerbread filled the air. Everyone was busy wrapping presents and singing carols.
But one cold morning, something strange happened.
The big Christmas tree in the town square went dark. The fairy lights stopped twinkling, and the decorations fell to the ground with a soft clink. Even worse — the reindeer from Santa’s sleigh had vanished! Only a trail of hoofprints led into the dark forest beyond the town.
The Mayor looked worried. “If we don’t find out what’s going on,” she said, “there might be no Christmas this year!”
That night, you looked out of your window and saw a tiny red light glowing deep in the forest. It flickered like a heartbeat, calling you closer. You grabbed your coat and scarf. Whatever was happening out there, you were going to find out — and maybe, just maybe, save Christmas!
