
BoomWriter and Wolverhampton Library Services are proud to invite young writers to take part in a special poetry competition celebrating everything that makes Wolverhampton unique.
This is your chance to put your thoughts into words and share what makes you proud of your city.

🏆 Competition Categories
There are two exciting categories for young poets:

Primary Poetry Champion
(Ages 8–11)

Young Poet Laureate
(Ages 12+)
📖 The Prize
The top 20 poems across the competition will be published in a beautiful printed anthology, celebrating the voices of young writers across Wolverhampton.
